Do you know where is the most delicious fine spice stall in Singapore?
Well, It is Lao Zhong Zhong Five Spice Stall which have decades of experience.
Pricing is according to how many sides you choose.
Today, I am going to introduce the one dish where you can call as many sides as you want, it is quite affordable as well. I have been there so many times which i will need more hands to count the visits. The five spice there is superb which able to attract a huge crowd whenever I go there to eat. So basically, Lao Zhong Zhong Five Spice Stall sells ingredients of all sorts which the diversity is large. The sides are chosen by the customer and the staff will help you fry your sides to a crispy state.
Normally, the dish is accompanied by fried bee hoon which is able to fuse well with the five spice. The chilli sauce is the most important factor which is one reason why I will keep going back for more. Sides which are normally called by people are Century Egg, Prawn Cracker, Sausage, Fish Ball, Cuttle Fish, Ngoh Hiang, Fillet and Fish Cake. The sauce is made to perfection and would be served with peanut toppings on top of the chilli. The chilli sauce is able to blend well with the fried bee hoon and the five spices so it is able to bring out the flavour of everything.

This is one place you MUST visit if you call yourself a true foodie!
ReplyDeleteThe prawn fritter is so light and crispy that it just melts in your mouth after the first bite! The prawn roll (Heh Chor) full of crunchy and sweet water chestnuts.
All items were fried to perfection and the chilli is really delicious!
It's a pity that they only have a couple of outlets in Singapore. I like the fried tauhu as it's really soft and tender.
